In the twelfth chapter of Isaiah we read (verses 3, 5): "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.... Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things."

Through Christian Science the Lord hath done excellent things for me, for which I am truly grateful. In the first place I am thankful that this great religion was presented to me seven years ago by someone who lived it so well herself that I could accept it when she told me of it. She gave me a copy of The Christian Science Journal, which I read eagerly.

Soon I chose a practitioner among those listed in the Journal who, through her loving help, further pointed the way for me. Through the study of the Bible and of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and this practitioner's work, I was healed of extreme nervousness, indigestion, allergy, resentment toward a business associate, sties, and the need of glasses, which I had worn for years, and which the doctors had said I could never go without.
