So much good has been ours through our study and work in Christian Science that I feel impelled to express my gratitude.

We were beautifully sustained during the depression, when my husband had no regular employment for several years. We later proved the truth of these comforting words from Joel (2:25): "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten."

When our daughter was a little girl, her hands became so covered with warts that she could not wear gloves but had to wear mittens. When she grew up, she went to a music school during the summer. The president of the school told her that it was useless for her to keep up her musical education with her hands in such a condition; that she must have the warts removed or not come back to school the following summer. She came home very much discouraged, and decided to have help from a Christian Science practitioner.
