Samaritan, Priest, or Levite?

THELMA BROOKS

Would you pass by on the other side
with curious glance or hasty pride
when your brother needs a helping hand,
or a light by which he may understand?
Pray tarry awhile; the light you hold,
may lead the weary one to the fold
of Love. Your kindly touch may be
the healing that helps the blind to see.
Your friendly smile may meet the need
of the lonely heart, so make your deed
a joy to help, to heal, or to guide;
think twice ere you pass on the other side.
