I wish to express gratitude by adding my testimony to the many which appear in the Christian Science periodicals. About thirty-seven years ago I was healed in Science of lockjaw caused by an ulcerated tooth. My husband was away from home at the time this difficulty appeared, and since I knew nothing about Christian Science. I turned to material aid for relief, which I did not receive. The only nourishment I could take was liquid or some pills which I could put in my mouth where some teeth were missing. When my husband came home he recommended having Christian Science help, for he knew something of the healing work it had done. By that time I had become very weak, but we boarded a train and went about thirty miles to a Christian Science practitioner. After my first treatment I walked several blocks to my brother-in-law's home. I was healed in only a few treatments.

Since then I have had numerous other healings, of tumor, influenza, rheumatism, sprains, burns, and other ills: and more recently I had a healing of what I am sure doctors would have pronounced pneumonia. For Christian Science, for the practitioners, and for my healings I am very grateful.— (Mrs.) Bessie A. Vance, Oroville, California.
