Fear Not; Mind Reigns!

As one studies Christian Science, interesting points constantly engage attention which inspire greater reliance upon God's loving direction during times of uncertainty and doubt. To the writer, one of the most timely and significant of these observations is the fact that Mary Baker Eddy discovered Christian Science and gave it to the world in a postwar period—in a time somewhat similar to the present. This truth is here today, as it was then, to reveal true wisdom, God's allness and ever-presence.

In her definition of God (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 587) Mrs. Eddy describes Him as "the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving, and eternal:" and man in God's image and likeness reflects these qualities. Man's heritage includes wisdom, discernment, happiness, and God-ordered activity, rather than the erroneous mortal claims of uncertainty, doubt, anxiety idleness, and failure. Such concepts are the products of false assumption and false statement, and are unreal and untrue because they are unlike God. Being unlike God, they can be no part of man in God's likeness.

How reassuring, and how important, too it is to know that the wisdom inherent in divine Mind is ready and ample to meet every situation or problem, whether it pertains to business, employment, or human relationships. When we affirm and realize this, we are prepared to receive our heavenly Father's all-wise counsel, which enables us to make right decisions and render wise judgments.
