Notices

The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy, publishers of her writings, announce new solo settings of seven of her poems, by the Canadian composer, Allanson G. Y. Brown.

The settings are of much interest musically, and at the same time are considered suitable for virtually all church soloists and organists or pianists. Their rating in the solo catalogue of the Publishers' Agent as to the degree of proficiency required for playing or singing them is Grade 3, which signifies that they are "simple to medium." The solos are:
"Christ My Refuge" (O'er Waiting Harpstrings). High voice, in A flat (C to F); low voice, in F (A to D).
"Christmas Morn" (Blest Christmas Morn). High voice, in D (D to E); low voice, in C (C to D).
"Communion Hymn" (Saw Ye My Saviour?). High voice, in C (E to G); low voice, in G (B to D).
"Feed My Sheep" (Shepherd, Show Me How to Go). High voice, in F (F to F); low voice, in D (D to D).
