Christian Science came into my experience when I was a child. A dearly loved uncle brought it to our attention after a visit to California. We did not take up this beautiful religion for physical healing, but we have experienced innumerable healings, physical, moral, economic, and spiritual, in the quarter of a century since.

We have experienced protection from error in many forms, and have enjoyed guidance and support in proportion to our obedience to Mary Baker Eddy's admonition (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 496): "We all must learn that Life is God. Ask yourself: Am I living the life that approaches the supreme good? Am I demonstrating the healing power of Truth and Love?"

The only time in twenty years that I was in bed because of illness, I was brought out from "the valley of the shadow" through the help of a Christian Science practitioner. As my consciousness was raised from the belief of life in matter to the understanding of Life as God, the difficulty was healed. I have, since then, enjoyed employment for over ten years uninterrupted by illness, having been in one position for eight years without missing a day. Each position into which divine Love has led me has been a progressive step in every way.
