I am so grateful for the good that unfolds in my life through the study and application of Christian Science that I should like to tell of some of my experiences.

I attended the Christian Science Sunday School at various times, but I did not rely on its teachings for healing. After I became a mother, I was in ill-health continually. One Sunday morning I was in utter despair, and decided to go to a Christian Science church service. During the reading of the Lesson-Sermon, a great sense of peace came over me. I realized immediately that this was the truth that I wanted. Jesus said. "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). From that day I turned in earnest to the study of Christian Science, and secured the help of a practitioner.

During the first months of my study I was healed of the need of wearing glasses, and the habit of social smoking and drinking. I also had a complete healing of an internal disorder for which an operation had been recommended by a physician, and of a false sense of family relationships. Faults of character, such as fear, egotism, resistance, resentment, self-justification, self-pity, and selfishness, were healed.
