I am most grateful for all the happiness, joy, and good which have come into my life through the earnest study of Christian Science, and for having had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. I am particularly grateful for the clearer understanding which this teaching has given me of God and man.

I have had many proofs of the healing power of Truth. In 1941 I gave up my work and entered the armed forces, because I felt it was my duly to help the war effort. Among the many helpful experiences I had through the application of the truth while a member of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force was the healing of a fractured foot. This took place within two weeks. I was able thereafter to walk out of the camp and go on leave. I had help from a practitioner, and the work which was done prevented my foot being put into a plaster cast. Although I was confined to camp sick-quarters and told to rest, no medical treatment was given me. This to me is a wonderful proof of the protecting power of Truth.

Later I was healed, through the help of a practitioner, of a nervous breakdown. Very soon the way opened for me to have class instruction. The clear teaching which I received gave me greater strength and compassion than I had ever had before.
