The blessings which have come...

The blessings which have come to me through Christian Science have been numerous indeed. However, there are three healings which I should like to mention particularly.

I had always suffered from an extreme sense of fear which manifested itself in self-consciousness. When attending a university, I was elected president of a sorority group. I tried vainly to get out of accepting. I was forced then to turn wholeheartedly to God for help. I had lost considerable weight in two weeks from fear and anxiety; but with the help of a practitioner, and diligent study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was able in one week thereafter to conduct in a dignified and efficient manner any and all business required of me. In fact, my period in office was a most harmonious one.

I also had suffered from abscesses of the ear. They appeared frequently, accompanied by much pain. But through the help of the same practitioner and my study of the definition of "ears" as given on page 585 of Science and Health, I was completely healded and the trouble has never returned. That was about sixteen years ago.
