A Child's Prayer

ARTHUR PERCY BUBB

Show me, dear Lord, my path in life to walk,
The narrow way.
Feed Thou my thoughts before I act or talk;
Direct my day.

Teach me to pray—in ceaseless prayer to know
The truth alway
That God is All; help me to prove and grow
In grace each day.

Teach me to do Thy will, and loving Thee
I shall obey
Thy voice, and prove with good my unity
The livelong day.
