As a Tree
As
a tree sends roots
Deep and deeper into the earth
Standing entrenched
While the stormwinds blast,
So he who grows strong
In understanding faith
Stands firm
In the consciousness of Truth.
Then, when gales of fear
Lash with terror,
He rises above the chaotic drift,
Hearing again
The "still small voice" of peace.
