I should like to share with others some of my experiences, and humbly acknowledge my gratitude to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for illuminating the way with her great discovery, Christian Science.

An experience for which I am most grateful proved to me the protective influence of this Science. One morning, before going to work, as I sat down to read the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly, it came to me very definitely to do protective work. I did so to the best of my ability, and proceeded with my studying. When I finished I was led to call a practitioner, and asked her to do some specific work for protection. I then started out. After getting off the streetcar at my destination I began to cross the street, failing to see either the streetcar approaching from the other direction or the large truck which was attempting to pass it. Not until it appeared to me that someone had lifted me and set me on the curb of the opposite sidewalk, did I comprehend what had taken place. I then realized that the protection I had sought in Christian Science had been received—that the work done through the understanding of the omnipotence of Truth had fulfilled its mission. I was overwhelmed with a sense of deep gratitude for the ever-presence of God.

I am grateful for the healing of ptomaine poisoning. This experience was a challenge as to whether I should depend on the help of material medicine or turn to Christian Science. I chose the latter and the healing was complete. I have also been healed of kidney-stones and constipation, through the help of a practitioner. Solely through the study of the textbook I experienced a healing of sinus trouble.
