Los Angeles, California (Eighteenth Church).
Eighteenth Church of Christ, Scientist, Los Angeles, held three dedication services on Sunday, May 14, 1944.
The church was organized in August, 1924, by a small group of Christian Scientists. Services were first held in West Ebell Club House, and Sunday school pupils were enrolled. Later the church moved into larger quarters in the University Masonic Temple, and became a recognized branch of The Mother Church on October 6, 1924. In 1926 a Reading Room was opened.
