I became interested in Christian Science many years ago when my mother was healed of an eye affliction. Through my study of this Science I learned to rely on the truth of being, as revealed by Mary Baker Eddy. I have had many healings in Christian Science, including the overcoming of wrong traits of character and the loss of false appetites. At one time a hard substance was removed from my body. When it disappeared I could never tell. It simply vanished through the application of the truth.

I have traveled considerably, using every mode of conveyance, and Mrs. Eddy's words in Science and Health (p. 102). "Mankind must learn that evil is not power," have always awakened me when error has appeared; also, the message from the Bible: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." A great sense of security always comes to me when I have realized that my "life is hid with Christ in God."

My wife and I have been blessed with three sons, who received their early training in a Christian Science Sunday School. Now they are in the service of our country and "following through."
