All the Way
I remember
all the way the Lord has led me.
How His love has always met my deepest need;
How His holy Word, the bread of Life, has fed me,
And His secret place has been my home indeed.
I remember how He sent His Word, and healing
Came in place of pain and suffering, fear and care;
How the light of Truth shone forth, to me revealing
God's all-power, and His presence everywhere.
I remember how His gentle voice has spoken,
And recalled me when my footsteps seemed to stray;
Error's subtle so-called power has been broken,
And my feet been planted in the narrow way.
I remember! And whatever lies before me,
Should I ever be by doubt or fear assailed,
Joyous memories of His love will reassure me,
Not one word of His good promises has failed.
