Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Brownsville, Texas (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Brownsville, held its dedication service at the regular Sunday service on January 30, 1944. A brief history of the church was read, telling of its growth from a small group, meeting at a home in 1919, to its present membership.

The church, which was erected in 1925, is located on the corner of Second and N. W. Elizabeth, and maintains a Reading Room in the First National Bank Building.—Herald.
