"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

Some years ago, when one dear to me passed on, I grieved for five years until I learned of the blessed truth of being, as taught in Christian Science. Through the Comforter, Christian Science, I was so completely healed of grief that at the passing of another dear one no tears were shod, and not only was I comforted but I was able to comfort other members of my family who are not Christian Scientists. Truly God does "wipe away all tears from their eyes." I shall always be grateful for the patient understanding and love of the faithful practitioner who stood by me during that time.

It would be difficult to relate the many, many blessings which have been mine since the day I accepted an invitation to attend a Christian Science lecture. I am especially grateful that I was ready to receive the Word, for although I had been active in the church of which I was then a member, I accepted Christian Science wholeheartedly, and soon afterwards united with The Mother Church and a branch church.
