To me, the wonder and glory of...

To me, the wonder and glory of Christian Science is that we can "prove all things." As students of this beautiful healing religion it is not only our prerogative but our supreme duty to prove that good is real, and that evil, of whatever nature, is unreal.

About thirteen or fourteen years ago, as a beginner in Christian Science, I spent long hours in a Reading Room avidly searching the periodicals, particularly the testimonies, in a desperate hope that encouragement might be found in the healings of others. Never had I known really excellent health, and the years had brought increased sufferings, as the result of a nervous, highstrung nature and unlovely traits.

At the beginning of the depression, I was not only encumbered with an illness considered incurable, but my husband and I, after years of abundance, found ourselves engulfed in lack. Bewildered by insecurity and at times by a desperate feeling about finances, we turned earnestly to the study of Christian Science.
