In a recent issue of the Bridgeport Post, a correspondent, who signs himself "A Seeker After Truth," asks "if there is one church in all of Bridgeport that teaches the gospel."

In the two Christian Science churches in Bridgeport, the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, are our only preachers. At both of these churches on Sunday there is read a Lesson-Sermon consisting of Scriptural texts and their correlative passages from our textbook. This Lesson-Sermon is identical in all branches, wherever located, of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
