In a recent number, mention is made of Christian Science which gives an incorrect impression of this religion.

Christian Science is not a new form of faith, but a reinstatement of primitive Christianity. Its ethics are Christian, and since it is understood through proof, it is therefore demonstrable or scientific. The Bible is the book from which the discovery was made. The Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, is the outcome of the author's study of the Bible. Referring to this fact she writes: "The Bible has been my only authority. I have had no other guide in 'the straight and narrow way' of Truth" (Science and Health, p. 126).
