Written in a Christian Science Rest Room

O Tender quiet, whither all may come
Bringing their burdens, leave them at this door.
For here all things are in His hand;
And peace of God is here.

All things! Ah, yes, let us be swift to know
This well-beloved room
Is ruled by Love, whose ever-presence
Stills all human fear, and satisfies each heart.

Ring out, sweet sound, and teach
Truth's verities to unenlightened ones—
Drawing them nearer to listen for His voice;
Here will they find new courage, strength, and peace.
