I became interested in Christian Science...
I became interested in Christian Science because I needed healing. I had been treated by several doctors for a severe nervous breakdown, but to no avail.
Greatly discouraged, I begged several of my friends to pray for me. Shortly afterwards, while visiting a friend, I heard of a case similar to mine that had been healed through Christian Science. I talked with a practitioner, but was afraid to trust wholly to it. However, the seed had been sown, and later, being much worse. I again sought help in Christian Science. My healing was very slow, and many times I had to retrace my steps, but the day came when I was entirely freed from that bondage.
In our home we have had many demonstrations of supply, and also minor physical healings. With the help of a practitioner twice I experienced painless childbirth.
I am grateful for church membership and for the privilege of serving on committees, also for the many blessings that have come to our home because of the teachings of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Elsie S. Roberts, Somerville, Massachusetts.
