Christian Science has brought so much harmony and joy into my life that I wish to express my sincere gratitude for it, as well as for its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy.

I took up the study of Christian Science because I felt a great need for a satisfying religion. The orthodox teaching of the church in which I had grown up left me uncertain about many subjects. This was especially true in regard to prayer. When I had read the first chapter of Science and Health entitled "Prayer," I knew I had found a religion that would completely satisfy me and was the one I wanted for my children.

Christian Science has been of invaluable help to me in bringing up my children, and has freed me, to a great extent, from a false sense of fear and responsibility in regard to their welfare. They have been quickly healed of colds and of children's diseases. Broken bones and dislocations have been successfully taken care of without surgery.
