Nobody who thinks at all can fail to realize that all is not right with a world in which the most serious economic depression of modern times and the two most destructive wars of all time have fallen within the life of a single generation. I take it that it is because of your awareness of this that we meet here today. We would ask whither we are tending and that God might bless the way. We would humbly acknowledge that there are problems to which we have no answers and heartbreaks for which the present social order has failed to find a cure.
