Peace Shall Come to the World
"Love
never faileth." Peace will come and war clouds all will clear.
But we must seek beyond the strain and stress of mortal fear.
The human mind needs something more than human aid to bring
The peace on earth that all men seek, of which the angels sing.
And help must surely be divine, for nought else can bring peace
From ways and means of mortal sense, from which men seek release.
True knowledge comes from God alone, and wisdom is revealed
When to divine omnipotence the human thought shall yield.
A thousand differing wills and minds know nought of God's decree;
The one Mind only can direct, and truly make men free.
He seeks the truth who seeks from God the government of man;
Inspired thought will image forth the truly divine plan.
For who but God does rule the world, in height, and depth, and space;
And this great rule is here and now, for men to seek and trace!
