St. Paul writes, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." I am immeasurably grateful that for over fifteen years I have known of Christian Science, given to us by our inspired Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

The following experience has proved to me how practical Christian Science is when rightly and prayerfully applied. Three years ago I needed to find a house suitable for a school. It had to be in a certain locality, a certain size, and available at a certain price. I studied many references from our Leader's writings on home, place, and consciousness. These gave me much encouragement, and I was also helped by Joseph Armstrong's book, "The Mother Church."

One day I saw a house which answered all the requirements. I then had to make the demonstration of supply, for this house was for sale only. I went to a Christian Science practitioner for help about this. She talked to me about the affluence of God, and told me to claim my right home and acknowledge it as my own, for it was in my consciousness. I was given a passage to study, from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 199): "Mind alone enlarges and empowers man through its mandate,—by reason of its demand for and supply of power."
