Although this testimony is long overdue, it is with a deep sense of gratitude that I now share with others the many blessings which have come to me and mine through the study and application of Christian Science.

More than twenty-four years ago, the healing efficacy of Christian Science was convincingly brought to my attention by the healing of my wife after all earthly hopes for a recovery had been abandoned by two eminent physicians of this city. At that time of dire distress, a Christian Science practitioner was called, and work was taken up which resulted in a complete healing. The healing was not instantaneous, yet it has been permanent. The expenses incurred because of this illness left us in very strained circumstances, yet we feel that the lesson learned was well worth all that we paid for it.

Since then, we have been blessed with two lovely daughters who, having had all their religious training in a Christian Science Sunday School, know only health, happiness, and assurance. Quite frequently their optimism and joy have lifted me out of depressed thoughts and enabled me to go on my way rejoicing in the ever-presence of God and the availability of His law to meet our every need.
