"Columbia West Coast Church of the Air" talk over Columbia Broadcasting System, by Mr. Sherwood Kretsinger,—May 31, 1942. Subject: "Refuge."

A Christian Science period in the "Columbia West Coast Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station KOIN, Portland, Oregon, on Sunday morning, May 31, 1942, at eight o'clock (Pacific War Time), by Sherwood Kretsinger, Committee on Publication for the State of Oregon, with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. F. George Anderson, soloist, was assisted by William Robinson Boone at the organ.

The program opened with Hymn No. 211 in the Christian Science Hymnal.

Mr. Kretsinger then read selections from the Bible as follows: Psalms 46:1–3, 7, 9–11; John 16: 32, 33; 18:1–5; Matthew 26:51–54; 28:1, 5, 6, 8–10, 16–20; and from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 322:3–3; 264:3–12; 174:9–14; 537:15–16; 44:5–10; 96:12–20; 83:7–9; 444:10–12; 299:7–17.
