Twenty-nine years ago I took up the study of Christian Science. Since that time it has been my only physician. Several of my relatives had been healed in Christian Science, but I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to find out about it for myself. I was healed of neuralgia while doing so. Shortly after this I fell on some ice and hurt my arm so that I could not use it. Work was taken up for me by a Christian Science practitioner. In a few days I had full use of the arm; the healing was complete except for a click at the elbow when I lifted it. This continued for a while, until one day I realized that it had disappeared. Bilious attacks, which would affect me for several days, colds, burns, lack—difficulties of all kinds— have been met and overcome; I am stronger and able to do more work. Those of my household also received the benefits of right thinking in the home. Mrs. Eddy writes (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 210): "Good thoughts are an impervious armor; clad therewith you are completely shielded from the attacks of error of every sort. And not only yourselves are safe, but all whom your thoughts rest upon are thereby benefited." Scarlet fever was healed in a week, whooping cough in two days. I had proof that there is no contagion, and also many other proofs of God's loving care and protection.

More recently, I had an attack of what, if the case had been diagnosed by a doctor, would probably have been called pneumonia. A practitioner took up the work and I was healed in a few days. There were no aftereffects; for only one half day was I unable to attend to my household duties.

I am grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, and to Mary Baker Eddy that Christian Science came into my life; grateful for the practitioners and friends who have helped me along the way; for the periodicals; for membership in The Mother Church and also in a branch church.—(Mrs.) Edith J.
