It is well over fifty years since I first heard of Christian Science. It was more than thirty years later before I became really interested in it, and then, because I needed healing.

I had been under the care of a doctor for over three years, and was told, among other things, to eat no cake or pie. At length I gave up both doctor and medicine, and one evening, after dinner, my wife remarked: "I notice you are not taking your medicine any more. What are you going to do now?" My answer was. "I am going to take up Christian Science." I then called a practitioner, and was told to give no thought to what I should eat. Through the work of the practitioner and the earnest study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was completely healed of bronchitis and diabetes in less than three weeks.

I am now a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and am serving on the distribution committee of the latter. I should like to say that it is an honor and a pleasure to serve in this way and help to disseminate the truth.
