Our inspired Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, courageously and understanding points the way to health and happiness in the Preface to her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p vii), with this enduring message: "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." And in the opening chapter, on Prayer (ibid., p. 1), she encourages us by stating, "The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God, —a spiritual understanding of Him, an unselfed love."

Many times in my experience this truth has been demonstrated, and each healing has brought a greater sense of gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for her priceless gift to humanity. The light she throws on the Scriptures is a revelation to this age.

It has been a privilege to serve in the Sunday school and on committees of a local branch church. My membership in The Mother Church has been as a beacon, guiding and lighting my pathway, and I rejoice because of the many opportunities for spiritual unfoldment provided by our Leader.
