Mr. Ezra W. Palmer, of Boston, Massachusetts, who has served as Clerk of The Mother Church since March 1, 1925, has expressed his desire to retire from that office, as shown by the following correspondence:

Dear Friends:

Will you kindly accept my retirement from the office of the Clerk of The Mother Church to be effective on June 1, 1942. In making this request to your Board I am indeed profoundly grateful that I have had the inestimable privilege of serving as Clerk of The Mother Church for a number of years.
