Christian Scientists know that through daily study and application of the truth they are protected from the effects of ignorance and fear.

When one finds himself in a place where, having done all, he does not know what more to do, he realizes how great is God's wisdom. I am very grateful for divine Mind, which with precision lifted me above an experience so that I was not even conscious of the seeming danger.

During a snowstorm my husband and I were driving on a New England highway. The road was very good until we approached a valley where there was ice beneath the new-fallen snow. Our car skidded and struck the posts on the opposite side of the road. Then we rebounded to the other side again. A fast-approaching car went past during this moment of lost control. God guided all, and no one was harmed or even inconvenienced.
