My first introduction to Christian Science...

My first introduction to Christian Science was through a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel given to me by the manager of an apartment house where I lived. I had a feeling of resentment against a relative who had unjustly maligned me, and I told this acquaintance about it during a conversation. She handed me a Sentinel which she said had helped her, and asked me if I should like to read it, and having nothing else to do at that time I said I should.

As I sat reading it in my apartment, I came upon an article entitled, "Return Good for Evil." After I had read it through I sat and pondered. It came to me to try this axiom in my own case, and the next time I met this relative I put it into practice. Needless to say, our parting was a happy one.

Since that time Christian Science has been my only help. It has made me realize that God is to be loved and not feared. He is Father-Mother and Friend, in fact, everything that one could wish for. When governed by Him, I have healed our little son and myself of illnesses, and also worked out financial problems.
