For some time I have desired to write of some small part of my experience through Christian Science, for, as Isaiah says, "I will greatly rejoice in the Lord."

Some years ago "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was placed in my hands, but I was not ready for it. During the last great war, however, I lost my baby boy. This awakened me to my need of spiritual understanding, and I have found that, as our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, says in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

During those four years of conflict I learned much. I attended every lecture near by, and sent my two small girls to a Christian Science Sunday School. At one lecture I took off my glasses, and I have never needed them since.
