My attention has been called to an article published in a recent issue of your esteemed magazine, in which it was stated that Rudolph Hess "was the head of the Christian Science movement in Germany." May I ask that you grant me the opportunity of correcting this erroneous statement.

Rudolph Hess was never at the head of the Christian Science movement in Germany. So far as it is known, he was never interested in Christian Science. It is reported that he has been interested in "nature healing" and maintained out of his private funds an institution for such healing.
