Will you allow me to comment on a dispatch from Berlin appearing in your columns recently.

Christian Science cannot in any manner be classed with theosophy and anthroposophy. Both are directly opposed to Christian Science. Christ Jesus gave Christianity to mankind, but we cannot speak of the latter as Jesus' "invention." Rather we should say his teaching was the outcome of his understanding of God, to whom he referred as "Father"—"my Father, and your Father"—and of the relationship of this sole creator to His creation.

On page 126 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy says, "Human thought never projected the least portion of true being;" and: "The Bible has been my only authority. I have had no other guide in 'the straight and narrow way' of Truth."
