It is with the deepest gratitude to God for having led me to Christian Science that I send this testimony.

Sixteen years ago I was a semi-invalid. I had been treated by several physicians and surgeons, who had been most sincere in their efforts to help me, but had finally told me that nothing more could be done for me. I had been X-rayed several times, and this showed a fallen stomach, with adhesions. I weighed seventy-nine pounds, and was gradually starving to death. One winter I spent in bed, unable to rise, and my mother nursed me day and night. I suffered continually.

I became interested in Christian Science through reading a lecture in one of the daily newspapers, and also was told something about it by a very dear friend, who lived close by.
