Because of my deep gratitude for Christian Science I give this testimony. My first healing was of laryngitis, from which I had suffered periodically since childhood. The first winter I spent in America the condition grew worse. After having medical treatments for months without result I turned to Christian Science, and in a few days I was well. The trouble came back twice, but in a mild form, and for ten years now I have been free. I have seen many healings, and have solved many problems for myself and others. Christian Science never fails. When I lack understanding I turn humbly to those who are more experienced. I can only praise the devoted practitioners who have helped me at different periods.

Christian Science has protected me from sickness and accidents; it has helped me to adapt myself quickly to a new world, to overcome gradually faults of character and the effects of depression, to destroy beliefs and effects of race, nationality, creed, ancestral bondage. Also, when jealousy, antagonism, prejudice, dishonesty, and malice have tried to prevent me or someone else from being successful, Christian Science has proved to be most effective. That "one with God is a majority" I have ample proof.

My heart overflows with joyous gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, because, through her textbook and all her other writings, I have begun to learn about God, who is Life and Love.
