The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Quincy, Massachusetts (First Church).
Lecturer: Dr. Hendrik J. de Lange; introduced by Mrs. Emily A. Pasley, who said:—
In the Gospel of St. John, Christ Jesus gives us this message: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Christian Scientists recognize the teachings of Christ Jesus and of Christian Science as revealing God's plan for peace on earth. Everyone at some time must learn that peace and satisfaction come of spiritual understanding.
