For Christian Science I am most...
For Christian Science I am most grateful. Previous to taking up the study of it and applying its truths, I had suffered for many years from acute indigestion, had taken medicine and tried practically every so-called cure I heard of or read about, but with no lasting results. Since learning of Christian Science I have had many physical healings, including the healing of the indigestion referred to, also of colds, coughs, headaches, scalds, and burns.
On one occasion I fell from an embankment, and struck my knee against a boulder. I felt no fear or pain, but clung to "the scientific statement of being," as found on page 468 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and was able to walk some distance directly afterwards. I had no further trouble, although the injury had looked serious. For all God's loving care, protection, and blessings I am indeed thankful.
Some years ago, I began doing mental work to see more of the abundance of God. I affirmed this truth steadfastly, and also the fact that man's supply and support come from God, divine Mind. The effect of this work has been demonstrated in the income which I have enjoyed ever since.
