I should like to express my...

I should like to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me.

Seven years ago my father was healed of a bad case of athlete's foot. I am very grateful that when he passed on, a short time ago, all sense of grief was instantly overcome, and there was wonderful comfort in knowing how much Christian Science meant to him.

From my early childhood, sick headaches came to me every week; also stomach trouble, and there were many foods which I could not eat. This continued until I became a student of Christian Science.

Twenty-eight years ago I had suffered so much pain that I had lost all faith in materia medica. I had been told by specialists that I was suffering from an incurable disease. The statement, "Man's extremity is God's opportunity," was surely proved true for me, because after I had tried nearly everything I went to a Christian Science practitioner, and in a month's time I suddenly realized that all the discordant physical manifestations were gone, and the pain also. I know that when the truth as Jesus taught it is applied, error vanishes into its native nothingness.

I am indeed grateful for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who dedicated her life to God's work and left us this wonderful legacy; also for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the blessing of class instruction.— (Mrs.) Mabel W. Dedrick, Van Nuys, California.
