Let Us Rejoice!

Centuries ago, a Greek Stoic philosopher said, "If a man is unhappy, this must be his own fault, for God made him to be happy."

Christian Science agrees with the statement that God made man to be happy, but it goes even further, for it reveals that man can never be anything else, since he is the reflection, the image and likeness, of the one eternal, harmonious Being.

The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Mary Baker Eddy, gave to the world a religion of joy. The spiritual truths which were revealed to her are set forth in her textbook, which makes it possible for all who wish, to gain a better understanding of the Bible and a clearer concept of God and of man's relationship to Him. The study of this book has lifted thousands from despair to joy, from sickness to health, from sin to reformation. Mrs. Eddy's writings and teachings indicate that happiness has its part in spiritual man's nature.
