It is a matter for rejoicing to be able to report continued activity in the work of this office in spite of what would appear to be considerable difficulty and limitation in the prevailing thought at this time.

Relations with the press during the past year have been cordial and helpful. The Lesson-Sermon excerpts from the Christian Science Quarterly have been published regularly by one paper, while others have been printed when the editors felt space permitted. One editor who had given up putting them in at all, promised, after a visit from the Assistant Committee, to resume publishing them.
