ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE PUBLISHERS' AGENT

NEW EDITIONS OF THE WORKS OF MARY BAKER EDDY

NEW VOCAL SOLO SETTINGS FOR MRS. EDDY'S POEMS

The publication of six new vocal solo settings for Mrs. Eddy's poems is announced by the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy. Librarians may wish to bring this announcement to the attention of music committees and soloists of their churches. The list of solo settings is as follows:

"Christmas Morn." Reginald Billin. High voice, in F (F to G); low voice, in D (D to E).

"Feed My Sheep." Thomas A. Ainsworth. High voice, in B flat (D to G); low voice, in G (B to E).

"Love." Peter Burges. High voice, in F (D flat to G); low voice, in D (B flat to E).

"Love." Sydney Twinn. One key only, key of D (D to F natural).

"Satisfied." Sydney Twinn. One key only, key of C (C to F).

"Satisfied." Walter P. Zimmerman. High voice, in E flat (E flat to E flat); low voice, in C (C to C).

At this time, the Trustees under the Will are also publishing a medium voice setting of "Mother's Evening Prayer," by Rossetter G. Cole, in the key of C, with a voice range from C to F. This solo setting, by Mr. Cole, is already available in high and low voice.

The list price of these solos is 60 cents each and the Reading Room price, 30 cents each.

BLUE AND BROWN THUMB-INDEXED SCIENCE AND HEALTH

Because of many requests received from the Field, the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have authorized the publication of the Thumb-Indexed Pocket Edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy in blue and in brown morocco leather, as well as in black.

The thumb-indexed arrangement makes reference quick and easy. Any page can be found immediately with either one or, at the most, two openings. The price of these books is $7.50; Reading Room price $6.75.

"THE UNITED STATES TO GREAT BRITAIN"

The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce the publication of Mrs. Eddy's poem, "The United States to Great Britain," in solo and choral form, composed by Walter E. Young.

The solo is available in high voice, in B flat (C to G); low voice, in G (A to E). It is not intended for use in Christian Science church services. The list price is 60 cents each, and the Reading Room price, 30 cents each.

The choral version is published for quartet or chorus of mixed voices. The list price is 15 cents; Reading Room price, 8 cents; and there is no quantity rate.

FROM THE CHURCH TREASURER

Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer." This tax of "not less than one dollar" may be paid at any time during the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1942. When remitting, please inform the Treasurer of any change in your permanent address and state year of admission to membership.

Contributions are accepted for the Charitable Institutions Fund, Promotion and Extension Fund, Christian Science Benevolent Association in Boston, The Christian Science Pleasant View Home in Concord, New Hampshire, Christian Science Benevolent Association on Pacific Coast, and for the various other Funds of The Mother Church, such as the General Fund and The Mother Church Wartime Fund.

TENETS OF THE MOTHER CHURCH

Because the Tenets of The Mother Church are copyrighted, branch organizations may not have them printed for their own use.

The Tenets are printed in two sizes. The large size is suitable as a basis for membership blanks, and the small size for binding into by-law booklets. Prices for Tenets are as follows:

Lots of 100—either size $ .75
Lots of 100—50 large and 50 small .75
Lots of 50—either size .50 Unless otherwise specified, the large size will be sent. Minimum orders are for lots of 50 Tenets.
