"War in heaven"

(Revelation 12:7)

JANE POLSON SPEARIN

There was war in heaven;
and Michael fought, and his angels.

And the dragon fought,
and those that were with him.

Now Michael inhabited the heavens
and fought with the sword of Spirit;
and the host of his angels increased
until the clouds were dispersed
by the brightness of their coming.

But the dragon was in darkness;
and his tribe could not increase
because there was no light in them.
His weapons were of brass;
his feet were made of clay;
and his vanquishment was accomplished
because of the heaviness
of his iniquity.

All all the heavens were filled
with glory, and thanksgiving, and praise;
that the power of Spirit
should prevail upon the earth.
