At the request of the Treasury Department of the United States of America, the attention of individual members of The Mother Church and individual members of its branch churches and societies is called to the opportunity of every man, woman, and child in the United States to participate in assisting to finance the national defense program of the United States government.
In order to be better prepared to give spiritual help in the Army or Navy through Christian Science literature and in other ways, it is desired to secure the names and present complete mail addresses of all officers and enlisted men in the military, naval, or air service of the United States who are Christian Scientists, or who have shown an interest in Christian Science.
In our home we have had many healings through Christian Science, such as those of constipation, sprained ankles, catarrh of the head, rheumatism of the feet and back, and toothache; and with the loving help of a practitioner I was able to overcome a great sense of grief when a dear one passed on, and was able to do the many things that needed to be done.
