About three years ago we were led to Christian Science. At that time I was healed within three days of a serious abdominal condition, including two tumors. According to the verdict of various doctors, the trouble could be removed only by a major operation. Since that healing, blessing has been added to blessing.

According to medical verdicts, motherhood was impossible for me, but a short time after my healing this joy came to me. The pregnancy progressed without any inharmony. Daily, indeed almost hourly, I realized the truth which Mrs. Eddy teaches in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive."

When the hour of birth approached we knew that we had only good to expect from the ever-present love of God. Shortly before the child was to come, the midwife saw that it was in a bad position, and she told us that the delivery could not proceed without the help of a doctor. But we knew that nothing is impossible with God. My husband telephoned the practitioner and the nurse informed the physician. A short time afterward, although its unusual position was not adjusted prior to birth, the child was born without any material help and without my having much pain. When the doctor arrived he could not sufficiently express his surprise at the "miracle" that had taken place.
