Morning
"Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."—I Corinthians 13:12.
Serene
and unafraid I greet this day,
Knowing that Love will guide my every way,
That Truth will light the pathway I must tread
And show the ever upward road ahead.
Mind guides me in the lessons that I learn
Of God's omnipotence. I must discern
That ever-present good supplies my needs,
As up, from sense to Soul, God, Spirit, leads.
The day draws ever near, through growth in grace,
When I shall see the Father face to face,
Not through a glass, and know as I am known.
Serene and unafraid, I claim my own.
